February 13-14: Eagle Watch/Cabin Fever Weekend - Marina Visitor Center (715 S. River Park Dr.) Ice carving demonstration starting at 11am on the 14th - watch as two blocks of ice are transformed into river creatures! Iowa Birds of Prey Presentation at 1pm featuring two live raptors presented by MacBride Raptor Center, followed by exhibits/displays on satellite tracking and nest cameras and more. Bring the kids for raptor activities and snow golf! Come for lunch at the chili cook off from 12-2pm: (to enter, call 563-252-2323 and bring a crock pot of chili), pay $5 to try each chili and vote, best chili receives prize. Hot chocolate, apple cider, and binoculars available. Bring your sweetheart for a unique Valentine's Day date, or bring your kids for a fun (and educational) experience!
February 17: St. John's Spaghetti Dinner, 5 to 7 PM (youth fundraiser for upcoming mission trips).
February 22: WELCA Soup Dinner following church service at St. John's (approximately 11:30 a.m.). St. John's will also be having the Golden Oldies Church Service that same Sunday.
February 23: Thrivent Financial "Your Legacy" Workshop - Join Kevin Hennessey, Thrivent representative, for pizza & refreshments on Monday, Feb. 23rd at St. John’s American Church in Guttenberg from 5:30—7 pm.
